You can read the Memoir of the King of War manga online for free at Mangatoo. There are 63 chapters so far. The story has a lot of action and lots of deaths. It’s a martial arts manga, so expect some action. You might want to pay attention to the characters if you enjoy martial arts. However, if you are looking for a quick read, it’s probably best to skip the first few chapters.
Ares
Ares is a Greek god of war who was a son of Zeus and Hera and the firstborn son of Zeus. He is cruel and vain. He is the brother of the goddess Aphrodite and is the father of Eros. His sister, Eris, is his constant companion. His two sons, Deimos and Phobos, and the old war-goddess Enyo also accompany him. Ares is portrayed wearing dark-brown Greek armor with a balteus, a white feather plume, and open-toed shoes with leg greaves. In his flashbacks, he wears a black outfit.
Despite his hard and aggressive nature, Ares has a soft side. He is tender and kind toward Aphrodite when she confesses her love for him. His playful side comes out when he lets Hebe draw a heart on his cast. He also asks Persephone if she needs him to kill someone and stands between Zeus and Hera, suggesting his protective nature. In the end, he is a good guy, but he’s far from perfect.
Ares has a violent streak. He captures Wonder Woman, threatens her with rocket-propelled armor piercing shells, and shoots her human girlfriend for putting up a fight for her. Despite her brutality, Ares still remains one of the most popular gods in the world, and he will continue to be popular for some time to come. If you want to see more of Ares, I highly recommend watching Ares in the god of war webtoon.
Kratos
In the God of War series, Kratos is a fictional character based on Norse and Greek mythology. He first appeared in the 2005 video game God of War, and has since appeared in a number of other PlayStation games and beyond. Among other things, he’s the protagonist of a 2010 comic book and a 2018 novel. Wen also voiced Kratos in the God of War webtoon, which debuted in 2015.
The God of War game features an iconic hero with an incredible kill list. From the beginning to the end, Kratos killed 28 different Greek figures – from gods to furies to heroic figures like Perseus. Only Charon, the only Greek god to beat Kratos without tricks, was defeated and later killed by the hero. So, what makes Kratos so appealing to viewers?
The comic is a quick read and easy to forget, so it’s the perfect comic for those who like to binge-read comics. However, if you like Kratos’ rage, you may want to wait until the new comicbook is released this fall. You’ll be rewarded with several episodes, so you can read as many as you like. And if you’re a God of War fan, you’ll probably also like the graphic novel adaptation.
Kratos, the hero of the God of War series, battled Ares, defeated his brother, and then traveled through the Underworld in search of the mysterious Ambrosia. On his way, he encounters a gigantic arachnid with the ability to speak. Kratos kills the arachnid’s eggs, but not before questioning the creature’s origins.
Alrik
Known as the Barbarian King, Alrik is the son of the Barbarian king and a powerful warrior. He is a champion of Hades, the god of death. He was once betrayed by Kratos and killed in God of War: Ascension, but his vengeful army forces him to beg Ares for his life. The series of God of War games began with the first game in the series, God of War: Ascension.
In the first game, Alrik fights the champion of Hermes, Danaus, and is nearly killed by him. But a wise Hades intervenes and brings him back to life with the help of the Sisters of Fate. Alrik gains magical powers and eventually makes his way to the Island of Creation to try and change his fate. Ultimately, Kratos and Alrik battle for Ambrosia.
In the god of war webtoon, the character of Alrik was an interesting character. He showed a caring side when he fought his father and risked his life to save him. His heartbroken over the death of his father also led him to grieve. His weapon, the large battle bow, has enhanced arrows and he showed incredible accuracy. He decapitated a Spartan soldier with a single arrow and was capable of firing multiple arrows at a time.
